Relays
A relay is an electrically operated switch that uses a small control current to switch a larger power circuit. It typically consists of an electromagnetic coil and a set of contacts. When current flows through the coil, it creates a magnetic field that attracts or repels a movable armature, opening or closing the contacts. Relays are used for isolation, amplification, and remote control of electrical circuits. They are fundamental components in automation, protection systems, and various electronic applications.
